It was mostly cloudy across central and eastern Kansas this

falling, with 60s in rain-free areas.

Thursday. Rain will affect much of Kansas, Oklahoma, northwest
Arkansas and southwest Missouri tonight. Isolated thunderstorms
can be expected in Oklahoma. Rain chances will linger across
eastern sections of Kansas and Oklahoma on Thursday, as well as
Missouri, northwest Arkansas and much of Missouri. Strong to
severe storms are possible late Thursday afternoon across western
Nebraska as a cold front moves into the area.

lower 50s, except for cooler 30s in western Kansas and parts of
Iowa and Nebraska. Highs on Thursday will climb into the upper 50s
and 60s, except for warmer lower 70s in western Nebraska.
